About
Thanks for visiting my team fundraising page for A Walk at the Zoo! I am participating in this walk because I support Shades of Pink Foundation's mission to provide temporary financial assistance to breast cancer families in need. Imagine having to choose between paying the mortgage or electric bill and life-saving medical treatment.

Did you know that, every year, about 9,000 Michigan residents are diagnosed with breast cancer? More than 2,600 of those individuals will have problems affording necessary cancer medications, forcing 1,800 patients to cut pills in half or skip doses; 2,000 will use up all of their personal savings for medical bills; and 800 will be forced to file for bankruptcy.

Every dollar raised makes a difference and your donation stays right here in our community. All donations are tax deductible.

If you would like to attend SOPF A Walk at the Zoo on Saturday, April 26, 2025, please register today. For more information about Shades of Pink Foundation, please visit shadesofpinkfoundation.org.
