Virtual Auction
The auction opens at 11 am EST on April 22, 2024. We have six incredible items up for auction. Shades of Pink Foundation was recently awarded four high-end trips by AmFund (American Fundraising Foundation) to include in our auction. Below is a preview of all destinations. Capture Life’s Precious Moments
We’re also auctioning off two Family Portrait Sessions in the form of Gift Certificates from Marla Michele Must of Enchanted Photography (valued at $275.00 each).
The gift certificates cover the session fee for an environmental family portrait session including Marla's time, talent, creativity, editing, retouching, an in-studio design consultation, and sneak peek images for social media. Prints/artwork are not included. Families with up to 10 people are permitted.
Event Details
SOPF A Walk at the Zoo Entry Time: Enter the Zoo between 7-9 am and then enjoy the day on your schedule. Apparel: Online store is now closed. All items will be ready to be picked up at Packet Pickup on April 25 between 10 am and 5 pm at Eclectic Home and Mangiamo (133 & 139 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson). *If you are unable to attend Packet Pickup, apparel can also be picked up at the Zoo on April 27. Collectible Pin: Available to first 1,500 adult registrants who enter the Zoo.
Big Top Celebration: 7 am to Noon. Celebrate the mission of SOPF with fellow supporters as we enjoy entertainment, vendors, snacks, raffle baskets, kid's activities and more. Recognition of sponsors, top fundraisers and teams with highest number of participants. The Walk Route: Want to get your steps in? There is a 1.7 mile recommended route through the Zoo for you to enjoy at your leisure. Already have your steps in? Stay at the Big Top and enjoy the festivities!
Early Packet Pickup - NEW LOCATION: Thursday, April 25, 2024, 10 am to 5 pm. Skip the lines the morning of the Walk and pick up your Zoo tickets early at Eclectic Home and Mangiamo (133 & 139 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson). Raffle baskets will be on display with ticket sales taking place.
*Eclectic Home is generously donating 10% of all sales from items purchased during Packet Pickup to SOPF.

Volunteers: Interested in volunteering at the event? Registration is required for most volunteer shifts. After you register, you will be directed to a volunteer interest form where you can choose your preferred shift. Reminders
Early registration online: Ends at 5 pm on Thursday, February 15. Late registration online ends at 5 pm, Wednesday, April 24. Remember, all registration online will close at 5 pm on Wed, April 24. In-person Registration: You can register in person at Packet Pickup on Thursday, April 25 from 10 am to 5 pm at Eclectic Home and Mangiamo (133 & 139 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson) and the day of the Walk from 7-8:30 am.
Your ticket allows you to visit the Zoo for the whole day. Remember, you must enter by 9 am.
